 A watch is a funny thing.....it is if you really think about it. It is just a miniature clock on your wrist. It tells time and in some cases, the day and the date. Some people can live without a watch. Time is really not that important to them. It’s very easy for them to ask someone else for the time. Other people have to know the time constantly. We know the value of time. Most of us grew up in a time when punctuality was important. There were no excuses for being late. If you couldn’t be on time, you were told to get a watch. As a child, the first watch you had probably had a cartoon character on it. You really didn’t care about what the time was; you just liked the cartoon character. You would look at that watch all day and never know what the time was. Why did you need to know what the time was anyway? You were a kid. You got older and you were told to get an “adult” watch. A watch that showed that you were responsible and conscious of the time. And you did get that watch. A basic analog watch with a good leather band. The watch did what you wanted it to, it told the time. That was it. But now you are an adult, you don’t really have to listen to anyone. You are your own boss.
